MOONWORKS Laundry Powder
We LOVE this stuff…It is an earth friendly, non-detergent laundry powder that Dr. Coleman discovered while visiting Northern Michigan. It is made in Suttons Bay in an ecologically responsible manner and is an example of the type of product that we wanted to share with our patients. Made with baking soda, borax and castile soap, this powder is extremely gentle and leaves no soap residue in clothing. Fabrics are left fresh, clean and super soft. It is ideal for sensitive skin (babies too) because there is no residual soap or fragrance left in clothes after washing. It is economical (2 tbsp) per load and works well in HE or front load machines, due to no suds. We really like the lavender scent (it completely rinses out of clothing but smells great while loading the washer, but recommend the unscented for very sensitive individuals or babies. Calmoseptine Ointment
As many of our patients know, this is our favorite product for diaper rash. Developed for care of serious skin ulcerations in surgical patients, it forms an excellent barrier to moisture and irritating chemicals in urine and stool allowing skin to heal without further irritation. Calmoseptine is available without a prescription at many local pharmacies, although it may be a special order item. As a convenience to our patients, it is available for purchase through the office at a price of $7.50 per 4 oz tube. |
